In Loving Memory of Trudy

? - 7/1/2008

You were a feisty little senior rescued by HSMC, affectionately called “poor little Trudy”. Adopted by us as “Little Pips”, for three years our foster dogs sure knew who was boss! Now you’re at the Bridge, it’s not the same without you!  Trudy’s life lessons:    Circle three times before plopping down into bed.  Stretch three times before morning walk (“three” was the magic number)  Never pass up a warm nap in the sunlight.  Stand right next to the big guys to demand your share (especially for a bit of sausage.)  It’s the size of the fight in the dog (Trudy recovered from 3 strokes)  Meet trouble head on – especially when it’s someone else heading for your food dish.  Stalk the big dog next door just for kicks.  Being a lost or unwanted pet can turn into a good thing, like being rescued to find a good retirement home!
