Max
is a
one
year
old
Shepherd
mix
weighing
about
50
pounds.
Abandoned
and
tied
to a
park
bench,
Max
was
rescued
by a
kind
police
officer
and
has
been
in
foster
care
since
that
time.
Very
much
still
a
puppy
at
heart,
Max
enjoys
running
and
romping
with
the
other
dogs
(he
plays
well
with
both
male
&
female
dogs)
in his
foster
home.
He is
crate
trained,
housebroken
and
has
very
solid
basic
obedience
commands
of
sit,
down,
and 'high
five'.
He
cannot
be
left
unattended
when
his
family
is
away
from
home
because
he has
not
yet
outgrown
the
puppy
desire
to
chew,
so he
is
crated
at
those
times.
His
ideal
forever
home
would
be one
with a
fenced
yard
for
playtimes
or an
adopter
who
has
the
time
and
ability
to
walk/run
him
every
day.
Older
children
would
be ok
for
Max;
he is
a bit
too
rambunctious
for
small
children.
Max
would
also
benefit
from
obedience
classes
to
improve
both
his
heeling
on
lead
and
his
social
skills
when
meeting
new
dogs
on the
street.
Max
loves
attention
and is
in
heaven
when
he can
cuddle
on the
sofa
with
his
people
or get
belly
rubs;
he's
a very
affectionate
dog.
