Lucas Golden Retriever Mix
If
you
are
looking
for
a
low
key
dog,
check
this
handsome
guy
out. Lucas (a
Golden
Retriever
mix)
came
to
us
after
being
rescued
from
a
thunderstorm,
standing
in
the
middle
of
the
highway.
Luckily
he
was
not
injured. Lucas
apparently
had
a
rough life,
because his
beautiful
coat
was
all
matted
and
full
of
burrs.
We
had
him groomed
and
neutered
and
now
he's
ready
for
a
new
home. Lucas
is in
a
foster
home,
where
he
is
doing
great
on
his
crating
and
manners.
He
is
housebroke
and
doing
well
with
the
family
cat.
Lucas
is
good
with the
female
dogs
in
the
household,
but
has
not been
introduced
to
males.
I
think
he
will
be
fine
as
long
as
the
other
dog
is
mellow.
Lucas
is
such
a
happy
guy
and
loves
to
be
brushed.
He
is
approximately
5
years
old,
and
he
likes
to
lay
around
and
is
not
an
active
guy.
Lucas
is
learning
leash
rules,
since
he
is strong
and
thinks
he
can
go
where
ever
he
wants,
but
he
is
a
fast
learner.
Lucas
would
be
good
with
a
family
that
has
older
kids .
He
just
wants
to
hang
out
with
someone
and
have
a
family
of
his
own.
